It had been a long journey but Ayame had tracked his scent to a small peaceful village. 'Why would Kouga be here of all places?' It was quite odd for a ookami youkai tribe to go anywhere near a human village unless it was to feed on the human's flesh.
This village had humans that were still alive. Her curiousity for great as she followed the scent to a hut. There was a miko inside, an old one at that. 'Odd...'
Her selected wolves were sniffing the area and licking their lips. There were humans about. To the wolves they were delectable. "You are not allowed to feed on them." She gave a soft, yet forceful command. Her ookami obeyed as she walked towards the small hut.
(OOC: I wasn't quite sure if I was allowed to post now since the other play seems to have finished. If not, please give me a ding.)

Kouga's nose twitched as he caught the distinctive scent of wolves drifting on the light breeze. But... these weren't from his tribe, he knew immediately, though they were familiar. They didn't seem to be attacking, either.
As the group came into view, he stood, his eyes wide upon seeing the red-haired wolf girl leading the pack. "Ayame! What are you doing here?"

Moving forward, Ayame stopped about a meter in front of him and bowed in greeting. "Hello Kouga, I come to offer my assistance in the destruction of Naraku." Her words were blunt and almost professional like if it was not for smile across her face. "I do not come for the proposal of marriage." She quickly added the words she had rehearsed in her head over and over before that moment.

"Oh..." Kouga blinked in surprise at the bluntness of her statement. At least she wasn't here to push the idea of marriage on him this time! That always made him nervous... he was supposed to marry Kagome, right? Right.
Standing up from the stoop, he offered the girl a fanged grin. "Well, in that case, glad you're here," he said. Looking down at the wolves, he tilted his head to the side a bit. "These all you're bringing?"

Ayame looked down at her wolves and blinked. "Well, yes. As you know when we were forced from our lands, many of our members were slaughtered." The red head continued. "If there is a need of more, I will go and talk to the other tribes in the area of the northern mountains. Although, they are still debating over with the peace talks."

Kouga shook his head. "Nah, it'll be fine." He was starting to rethink Ayame's offer of help, anyway. Stepping closer, he looked at the wolfgirl with a hint of concern. "Hey... you sure you wanna do this?" he asked, showing a rare moment of thoughtfulness. "Don't know how bad the fight's gonna be... it's dangerous."

Ayame raised an eyebrow. "Are you questioning my strength?" She questioned. "Even if the battle is dangerous, it is obvious that this Naraku is dangerous. Strength comes in numbers and seeing that he is not done with yet. It would seem that perhaps there is a need for help." She nodded.

Kouga waved his hands in protest. "No, no, I know you're strong!" he said quickly. I just don't want you to get hurt, he thought, but didn't know how to say it. Looking away, he folded his arms with a huff. "It's just... ahh, y'know, there's gotta be someone to carry on the wolf tribe and all. I don't plan on dyin', but..."

"Ah... well don't you think that perhaps this Naraku will try and wipe us out? I don't mean to bring up a painful topic but the reason why you are after him is to avenge your tribe. It's true that the battle will be hard but like I said. What if he goes after the other wolf tribes? How could anyone carry on the ookami tribes if we're all dead?" The red head asked him, it had been awhile since she had seen him but after seeing her tribe being cut down so easily and the ongoing wars between the ookami tribes of the north, Ayame's views had changed somewhat.
Of course, she pined for Kouga but she didn't want her childish dreams to get in the way of what was real in life. "If need be, I will go back to the peace talks and explain this matter. I don't think that you can beat this Naraku alone." The red head watched him with her green eyes.

Kouga stared off in the distance, his eyes narrowed. He hadn't thought too far ahead... mainly, because he didn't expect to survive the final confrontation with Naraku. He didn't want that same fate for Ayame, but he also didn't want to put the burden of leading all the tribes on her shoulders.
Finally, he sighed and looked back to her. "Guess you can stick around for awhile and see what's going on," he said gruffly. "I'm sure dog-turd needs all the help he can get."

Ayame nodded. "I see." Was all she said as she sat down. She wanted to find out the infomation but all things would be said with time. "I will stay and offer my assitance in battle."
She couldn't smell Kagome-chan nor the hanyou but she scented the other three companions of theirs. She assumed that this was their home or something like it.
((OOC: I'm stopping it there... Someone can start a new thread. Sorry it was short but the roleplay is like on hold or something. -_-;; ))
